Business Solutions Consultant, Inside Sales (PT)

Deseret Digital Media (DDM) is the online division of Deseret Media Companies that manages the digital assets of KSL.com, DeseretNews.com, OK.com and others.

The Business Solutions Consultant will be motivated, sales driven, and success focused and will work directly with businesses to provide them with powerful solutions to their advertising needs across all our websites. The position is responsible for increasing revenue through the development of new and existing relationships (with emphasis on new business development) and meeting a specific sales quota.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR PRIOR SALES EXPERIENCE

Specific requirements of this position include:

•Seek out opportunities to drive incremental sales and new business opportunities over the telephone
•Analyze clients' and prospects' advertising and marketing needs and consultatively recommend appropriate advertising solutions, quote rates and schedule advertising
•Meet and exceed sales quota
•Build and maintain strong client relationships
•Stay current with industry trends, digital advertising and marketing techniques that can be applied to current and prospective clients

Qualifications and Skills:

•Demonstrate results in the solution-based selling process
•Ability to make sales presentations and close sales over the phone
•Manage pipeline with available tools and provide forecasts to management
•Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment and meet short deadlines
•Self motivated (willingness/ability to cold call repeatedly)
•Ability to work a 28-hour workweek (M-F)
•Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
