Digital Mobile Advertising Account Executive (FT)

The Digital Mobile Advertising Account Executive will be motivated, sales driven, and success focused and will work with direct and agency prospects to sell digital mobile ad products and services (smart phone, tablet and SMS). The position is responsible for meeting a specific sales quota and increasing revenue through the development of new and existing relationships (with emphasis on new business development), developing and implementing concepts targeted to digital advertisers, conducting in-depth advertiser needs analysis and responding with appropriate recommendations to address the client needs while promoting the different advertising options offered across DDM's properties.
Specific requirements of this position include:
•Identify, pitch and close new business with targeted accounts and digital agencies- with HEAVY emphasis on cold calling
•Meet and exceed sales quota for digital mobile products and services, including display ads, sponsorships, SMS campaigns, mobile optimized websites, etc.
•Evangelize DDM's digital mobile advertising offerings
•Educate the marketplace on the value of digital mobile advertising and provide thought leadership in the ad community
•Work with the product team to refine current offerings and provide feedback on future products and enhancements
•Monitor prospect and client mobile websites/products and campaigns and make proactive, creative suggestions for enhancements and improvements
•Manage pipeline with available tools and provide accurate sales forecasts and report to management in a timely and consistent manner
•Stay current with digital mobile sales, marketing, commercial technology and techniques that can be applied to current and prospective clients
•Strong organizational and customer service skills
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing dynamic environment
•Self motivated, with attention to detail (and willingness/ability to cold call repeatedly)
•Effective time management skills & ability to meet deadlines
Candidates should be passionate about the business of digital media sales, have a proven sales background, with at least 3+ years media sales- 1-2 of those in digital and mobile digital sales, and a demonstrable track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Prior experience selling digital is required- NO EXCEPTIONS. Strong contact list and ability to hit the ground running with solid prospects is a plus.
