Marc is the Director of Product Management, Local and Search for KSL.com, focused on building Utah's premier online business search engine on Local.KSL.com, helping Utah SMB's and consumers to connect with each other. Marc leverages his 12 years of online and offline small business creation and operation experience, and 6 years of online big business experience. He is also working on the first comprehensive online city guide for all cities in Utah, on Local.KSL.com, spotlighting everything from events and activities, to restaurants and services throughout Utah.
Prior to his current position, Marc was Director of Product Strategy for DeseretBook.com where he optimized online conversion and revenue. Prior to DeseretBook.com Marc was Director of Customer Intelligence and Development Strategy at Overstock.com where he built the first department to combine statistics and realtime reporting to drive strategy for Marketing, Customer Service, and Loyalty programs.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. He and his wife, Harmonie, have 4 children and love outdoor activities with the family. Moab, St. George, and Christmas Meadows Utah are some of their favorite destinations. Marc and Harmonie are both entrepreneurs currently owning 5 small businesses between the two of them. Marc also has a passion for music and enjoys playing guitar and bass, writing and collecting music, and attending concerts.
